Just now, someone did suicide in front the train i take daily. I was waiting to go to the last stop called Journal Sq. and the trains weren't stopping. I asked the lady who does the door controls why and she said there was some police activity going on. At the same time my mom was waiting at Journal Sq for me and I had to take the bus from the stop before to Journal Sq(called Grove St) to Journal Sq. I ran my ass off to get to the Journal Sq station and I saw mad cops there. The moment I arrived, they just cut off the police tapes and allowed people to go. My mom was standing with one of the train drivers and I asked her what happened. She told me that someone did suicide a couple minutes ago before I arrived and that they just took the dead body. She said that she saw the dead body and the sheet was covered with blood. She also told me how the guy was very tall.

I think the guy did it due to depression. I feel really bad for his family, the conductor who was driving the train, and especially for the man himself.

I heard that lots of people try that method of suicide because they think its quick and easy. But what happens sometimes is that they just get dragged under the train and theres pieces of flesh just rips off everywhere and legs come flying off and sometimes people live through all that. Which sucks because then they are all messed up. so I would say that guy is lucky for not surviving that imo.

u never know though, he coulda done it when he was completely happy with himself and his life.
but seriously, suicide is a horrible thing. it's taking yourself out of this world, the only world there is. but shit, people do it. im sorry to hear you had to experience that situation. and im sorry his loved ones and everyone else who is dealing with his suicide.

It was disheartening for me to hear that. I was in absolute shock as well. I never expected this to happen in a location that I used to traveling through. Every time I'm gonna take that train, I'm probably gonna end up thinking about how the man died. It's really sad.

Edit: Also, you make a point bass. We can never know what's his reason why or how was he feeling.

Yeah suicide really blows, one of my friends commit suicide. Was really sad, all these people started crying at school, same with the other 3 people in my class who have died (R.I.P)

It sucks cause when you hear it, you're shocked and you don't think it's going to ever happen around you. If you didn't really know them, you still feel bad about it, but when it's your friend or someone you know, it's even worse because it's like wow, they were here yesterday, but not anymore and you wonder where they went and shit and if there is even a heaven/hell all that good stuff. Gets your mind to think about stuff

I feel bad for that guy and his family or friends

I saw it on the news, it was a news flash. My mom used to take that train everyday to go to work... Sad stuff.. I feel bad for his family...


And chunky, i completely agree, hes so lucky he did not survive a train hit. if he survived he would be in so much pain.

i know it's not suicide, but 2 years ago, around halloween, my neighbor's older brother was drunk with a friend and was driving, and they crashed and died very close to my house, and i remember walking by the spot where they died when i went trick-or-treating with my friends and one of my friends said "we're gonna have a moment of silence when we walk by, if any of you say anything, i will beat the shit out of you" and there was like so many flowers and people around the spot where they died, i felt really bad, my neighbor is really nice too, now all that's left is her, her mom, and her dad, i really can't imagine dealing with that

Element, that's also sad. It's so hurtful whenever you hear any type of loss. I totally agree with what your saying because no matter who the person is, we still all feel sad about it. I guess it's because it's also the connection of that everyone has lost someone special to them that sets off the connection of feeling sad for someone who we don't know who has died. If it's not a connection then it's because everyone does have a true heart that we can feel like that.

Do you get what I'm saying? Kinda hard to say it when it's all in my head.

Me and some friends just got the train station a few minutew after a youth jumped, all we could see was blood, it was gross. Trains were delayed for like an hour. Found out that the guy goes to my cousins school.
