I believe that the Act of 1889 made it illegal for photographers to take pictures because of the long hours it took to take the picture. This act would later on be nullified with the People's Act of 1921.

I like my history teacher. Our class doesn't just read from a book. Everyday we are given a question and we have to go around the room (asking peeps) trying to find the best answer.

Like today the question was:




Yea....weird ass question, but its funny trying to figure it out.

Only gay thing about the class so far is we have to have a folder that doesnt have rings but the other kind that holds the paper, and we have to have Cornell note style papers which is a bitch to make if you need a lot of 'em.

So much can be learned from history...what a rather foolish thing to say.

i never said it doesn't teach much, i just said i don't see why it should be required to learn....with all honesty wtf could i possibly do with knowledge of George Washington if i was in a construction company? nothing, sure it's nice to know about the place your livin at history, but don't make it a damn requirement to learn for an advanced diploma
