I'm not going to say fake, because that shit is real, but... I am doubtful that that was not setup. Why would someone record themselves playing wii just for no reason. I bet the TV was messed up, like had an issue where it would only work for a few minutes or something, and he didnt care, so fuck it, put a vid on youtube of destroying it.
