That won't DIE. I downloaded a full version of Spybot - Search and Destroy and I got rid of what? 30+ Trojans? I was hoping that I deleted the one that's been fucking me over, but no, I didn't. I have run a scan on my computer 5 times (doing a 6th one right now) and it hasn't been able to catch it. The dumb virus keeps popping shit up trying to make me dl stuff, making my computer a crap load slower, etc. anyway, what's a REALLY good anti-spyware?

EDIT: ok, so i found out my virus is a Virtumonde, i HAVE tried what it said, and i'm going to quote it:

"Virtumonde copies itself to the system folder and creates a BHQ. Virtumonde connects to malicious websites in background. It also adds a randomly named dll to the Winlogon Notify, which will make it very resistable to removal. Removal require the computer to be disconnected from the internet and restarted after first scan and fixing secction."

i'll lose all my data and there's a way to fix this, rather not do reformatting unless it's the last possible solution

Alright so, theres this forum called "BleepingComputer" they help out with all the virus', malware, spyware, etc etc.

So go to http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums

Go to this section - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/forum22.html

Open up another tab and go to http://download.hijackthis.eu/HJTInstall.exe

Install it, analize it, COPY THE WHOLE OF THE TEXT. Go to the section I said before, and make a new topic with "Virtumonde help"

Inside it, say how it started, what you done beforehand then post the Hijackthis below it.

When you get a reply, follow it and you'll be clean.

This work, they are a great help. IF you want any help, just PM me over Steam.
