I'm just making the statement that if you think that this guy is any different than any other guy then your going to have your feelings hurt very soon.
He had enough money pumped into his campaign by a EXTREMELY left organization that if he doesn't start jumping when George Soros tells him to, I'd be VERY VERY VERY surprised.
You don't get that far in politics unless you have a LARGE group of people behind you pulling strings and making moves. If you think that Obama is there because of his hard work as a community organizer and 2 years in the senate then i feel bad for you.
He's someone who came along at a proper moment and had a message that alot of people wanted to hear. Whether you think he's a good guy or not, he's a great speaker and had a LARGE push from the media. He passed a message on that though I think will never ever ever be possible, alot of people in America took hook, line, and sinker.
I personally don't like the guy because what he promised the American people is not possible. IF he does attempt to do a lot of them, (ie. Socialized medicine, financial redistribution, amnesty for illegal aliens) he will bankrupt America.
Also, to be said that he is running on a platform that pits two large groups of people against each other. The working v. the non working. I fail to see how that is going to end up being a good thing.
Please don't think that I'm a Republican. I'm an independent conservative. I voted for Bush the last 2 times because Gore was a moron, and Kerry is a Gigantic Pussy. Gore would have spent more time worrying about the state of our ecosystem than the affairs abroad(getting our boys and gals back home) and Kerry wouldn't pull the trigger if given the chance, and would likely be worse than Carter in international affairs(if that's possible). There is a lot of things that I do not like about the current administration... ie, the fact we're still in Iraq, still spending money, and the fact that we have KILLED our national budget and still had to bail out private entities. But to think that Bush and his minions are the sole reason that this is happening would be naive and just stupid. We have been under a Democratic controlled Congress for the last 2 years. Do you not think that they have been doing everything that they can to undermine the current administration? HELL YES they have.
So... to put things in perspective.
Obama=puppet
Bush=puppet
Every president since possibly Roosevelt=puppet
Political parties are bad.
The state of our nation is not solely to blame on Bush.
Campaign financing=bad
Lobbyists actually control the US.
