i kind of find it funny how everyone criticizes us with iraq when the russians have been in 3 similar wars.(although i do respect the russian military, the government on the other hand not so much) For those of you who don't do research the russians(or soviets) invaded afghanistan an lasted for 10 years with the same fighting were doing. Then there are the 2 chechen wars in which the 2nd one is still being waged just like how we are fighting in iraq, except for the fact it get cold an snowy in chechnya. Only reason i support the russians in chechnya is because they are also fighting islamic extremist

I've also heard he is not going to redo the bush tax cuts and reagan ones(not really to knowledgeable about these) So when the bush cuts are gone every single person ill get an increase. I still find it so funny that a dem won an election on having lower taxes.

This is the funny part that u guys dotn think about. If he lowers taxes for the large middle class that dominates the population and increase taxes for the high class that only takes up 2% of the nation you all think thats going to make our economy plumate. Heres a couple things to think about. 92% of the wealth in america IS IN THAT 2% OF THE US. If we increase there taxes WE CAN GET THAT 92% OF THE U.S WEALTH BACK. Thats more money than you could ever tax the lower class. Also some food for thought. Our economy is failing right now because no one is fullfilling there "american duties" and shopping till they pass out. Because the economy is falling and because prices are going up people have stopped spending money. If we lower the taxes and they get more money in pocket THEY WILL START SPENDING AGAIN. This extra money will go right back to the economy because shopping and superfluous spending will come back. Everyone has been scared shitless thinking the next economic depression is coming so there gonna start saving there money. It will take time but the large tax dollars coming from the rich and speding of the lower to middle class WILL boost the economy.

first of all, it's not fair to ask AGAIN the people who make the most money to pay more money. majority of them work hard for their money and to ask them again and again "plz pay more money because people are taking out bad mortgages and over charging our credit cards" is ridiculous. How about we stop wasting money on pro-athletes, college BCS bowls, and other stupid shit.

Hypothetically speaking:
Ok, so we lower taxes and keep our money. What do we do with that money? We buys toys made in china, our xboxes made in mexico, shop at walmart where everything in there is produced by another country, ETC ETC. show we get some money from that but really enough to boost our economy?

Mabey im right mabey im not, no one will know till it happens. I believe in Obama, hes the first president thats given me hope about this country. The one thing i know for sure is that with either candidate there is a risk of a depression. Obama is at risk for all the ideas u guys expressed, and McCain was at risk because he believed continuing the war would be the only option. THE U.S SPENDS $270 MILLION ON THE WAR EVERYDAY. $270 MILLION OF OUR HARD WORKED MONEY TAXED FROM US. 52% of our taxes dollars goes to the war either directly or threw supplies, weapons, and munitions. And what do we have to show for this war? Nothing, besides an economic depression. If we slowly pull out of this war imagine what we could do with $270 mil everyday. You think thats enough to rebuild our economy? I will say one thing. We cant pull out the army in a day, even a month, mabey not even a year. According to international law because we have destroyed Iraq we have the responsibility to rebuild them. If we leave now Iran would invade Iraq and take them over in a matter of months. So this fix isnt gonna come quickly, but it will come. Once thsi war is done the recession will slowly come to an end. I will say this, i wil ALWAYS support our troops. They fight for thsi country and I owe them everything. But i will never support war. So farr in the war a little over 4600 US soulders have died, over 1,000,000 Iraqis have died. Also thousands that werent recorded. The worst part is 1 in every 10 deaths is a child. This wars gotta end, if it doesnt the country will become weak.
