Everytime i try to run tf2, it shuts down b4 i get to the menu.

One time it said my computer didnt have "pixel 1 1 0" or something, but it only said that once :(

the second time i tried to run tf2 it just quit b4 i got to the menu

Yeah I have that problem. Your video-card doesn't suppost "pixel shader 1.1 or later" So it seems that you have to buy a newer video-card that does.

So what video card would i have to buy to be able to play tf2?

do scrims and get your mind off things :Po i would totally buy an 8600 (just make sure you don't buy an XFX like i did, sometimes their defective, buy an NVidia)

no, i went on a tech support forum and they said sometimes an 8600 XFX video card are defective, and i bought one and it was also defective, sometimes they're and sometimes not, you gotta chance it and have a receipt handy

Just the 8400's.

I dont wanna buy a card that might not work.
