At my school, football is THE GAME. Everyone in my school and probably county wants to play football when they grow up. It's kind of sad, since football players get paid more than the president of the US. What do you guys think?

I think, it's just real stupid. People want to waste 15 years of their life playing football for a living and then somewhere in the midst of all that, they could be injured and lose their career. People are obsessed with the game, and I like to play it, but I'm not going to center my life around it.

to some people, its their only way out of the "ghetto". to others, its their parents consistently telling them that they only need to play football to succeed in life. who am I to judge? everyone has different goals and people will do whatever to achieve them. it's a personal battle everyone has. let them play, and if they don't make it they will become unemployed and help keep inflation down. woot!

i love football, it's such an awesome sport, i was running back for freshman year but sadly, i'm off of sports/running cuz of my diseased knee, but i'm def. trying out for JV if my knee gets better

I will be driving hours to be at my alma marta OleMiss to watch the rebels play Saturday, and also to visit some friends, but yea... you can guess I voted no.

i think i have an automatic place as JV since i did Freshman year, i don't exactly remember what my coaches said, but yeah, good for me

woo i love football...they get paid alot for entertainment but is it too much i say yea its a little too much but whatever i love football, so i really dont care.

imo football is to slow paced for me, they run a play for like 10 seconds and take like 1 min to set up. And when 50 seconds can take up to 20 mins to complete, thats just annoying

I'll agree to that. I like throwing around the old pigskin, but I'm no giant fan of watching a Football game myself because of that fact. Not to make connections, but it's like Basketball - constant movement and a big play could happen in any moment.

Titans are losers lol. I don't really watch Football, but my favorite team would probably be the Colts, if any at all.
