thats exactly what im NOT hoping. Id rather it be a faulty piece then a wiring mistake if i do bring is somewhere. pc shops are so damn expensive..

Seriously, take it one part at a time, if possible, take everything out, but the motherboard, hook up nothing, not even the ram or video card.

Take 1 stick of ram, put it in, put the video card in, hook up the power switch for the case, hook up the 3 power cables (24 pin 4 pin and video power) hook up monitor keyboard mouse, test.

yes, of course CPU. It wont power on unless its in.

CPU, RAM, GPU, and all of the connectors from the Powersupply to the Mobo.

Leave off all of the accessory led's n shits from the case. If it starts w/ no problems, then you know you had bad connectors.

Take baby steps with it. Be patient. Don't get ahead of yourself.

alright did exactly this:

put cpu in without fan, 1 stick of ram in, video card in, attached 24 pin and 4 pin to the power strip thing, attached power to video card, flipped the 0 on the psu to 1 and nothing happened.

whered i go wrong?

i got the heat sink hoooked up nice and tight. and 1 stick of ram in. im gonna redo the video card and call it a night after that. ill check back in tomm. night suckas

i think i put the ram in wrong
apparently the white clips are supposed to snap into place, i missed that little tid bit.
