well for the past 5 or so weeks i've been working with a recruiter an yesterday i offically signed my contract an swore into the military

I leave october 13th for boot camp at Parris Island, South Carolina

so hopefully i should be on more often now until than

I thought about getting into the Marine Corps myself. I've been talking with recruiters...but still trying to get my parents, grilfriend, and friends to accept it if I do.

yeah. i brought this up with my parents as well. cause i've thought about it enough to become quite interested. but my parents would rather me get a degree and go in as an officer with a job off the front lines

Congrats Combine! If you got any questions about the military just ask me. I'll see if I can't answer them. Take this advice!!!!!! Do not wear any globe and anchor clothing on your report date.

Update though...i got my date delayed till december 8th, was delayed so that i could get my Military Police job secured an mine hopefully though someone will maybe drop out so i can get a earlier date, keep you guys updated though

heh... MP eh? That's what I am in the Army. Mos designation is 31B (military Police). Not to scare you or anything but be sure to save your tax free hard earned money when your deployed. I saved up quite a bit myself. To answer your post in my membership post, The Army life is good.
