42 All Time Classics ( think it's called Clubhouse games in America) is fun.
Basically, it has 42 different games: card games like blackjack, texas hold em, hearts etc. It also has board games like chess, backgammon and other games like bowling, billiards and dominoes.
They're all controlled using the touch screen so it's easy to play, and almost all the games are playable online with other people - including online leaderboards.
Solo play is also quite good, but if you were going to get it then it's worth being able to go online.
Complete game list:
Card games: Old Maid, Spit, I Doubt It, Sevens, Memory, Pig, Blackjack, Hearts, President, Rummy, Seven Bridge, Last Card, Last Card Plus, Five Card Draw, Texas hold 'em, Nap, Spades and Contract Bridge.
Board games: Chinese checkers, Checkers, Dots and Boxes, Hasami shogi, Turncoat, Connect Five, Grid Attack, Backgammon, Chess, Shogi, Field Tactics and Ludo.
Variety games: Soda Shake, Dominoes, Koi-Koi and Word Balloon.
Action games: Bowling, Darts, Billiards, Balance and Takeover.
Single player games: Solitaire, Escape and Mahjong solitaire.

Edit: and in the UK it's a budget game, only £20, don't know about America though
