Basically if you haven't herd, VALVe released a DOD:S beta to test out new things to add to it. It's now being pushed into the real deal, some for the best and much for the worse. Things for the better are things such as faster time to enter your iron sights, a graphical update (it uses the updated Source Orange Box engine now, so it has better grenade enomelees, motion blur, etc.), and avatars displayed in the score board. A lot of the stuff thats for the worse are basically the updates that mimic TF2: revenge/nemesis, kill cam (which destroys your hiding spots), and shite like that.

Still a good game, download it.

I do own dod:s on a different steam account, and its installed on my computer. i dont know about it though. I tried, but I just dont like it as much as old 1.3. The only good thing they did (in my opinion) in source, was that they made the machine guns more balanced. Oh and the graphics are awesome.
