Supposedly the kid was a german actor. The original vid was a response to a german politician who proposed a ban on violent video games. The video was made to protest that, however was interpretted otherwise. After the vid was released it appeared on a German television show the used the vid to prove gaming and internet addiction.

PS. the kid was apparently playing counter-strike.

The vid was actually in favpr of the politician since the comedy invovled was so abstract. The bill to ban violent games did not pass.
