What could be happening, is that ur letting ur world objects touch your normal objects. When u compile, Hlbsp gets confused and shatters the world object into smaller pieces, which raises r_speeds and therefore lag. Also, if you're using a sky, make sure that the player cant see off into the bottom part of the sky. That also makes players lag. AND FOR GOD'S SAKE! DONT MAKE A SKY CUBE AROUND YOU MAP! That absolutally kills any chance of fast gaming when more than 8 peeps are on the server |
