Hey all,

Randomly thought about Splak today and figured I’d stop by to say hi. Hard to believe it’s been over 15 years. I’m 31 now and still in California. Finished college in 2017, started working full time that same year, and bought a house around then too.

These days I work in IT for local government, on the infrastructure side. I tried programming in college but it wasn’t really my thing. I still write some PowerShell and Python here and there. It’s been a fun ride working with virtualization, networking, AD, M365, Linux, and much more.

I can say without a doubt that gaming, especially CS, played a big part in where I ended up today. Tinkering with HLDS and AMX Mod X back in the day definitely sparked that curiosity in me. I still think back on our old days with a lot of good memories. Hope everyone’s doing well!

Yo VMAN! Glad to hear you are doing well!

It's kinda funny, besides the dates and the years some of us and I am doing much of the same work. :lol: About to start moving our 200+ VM environment from VMware to ProxMox.
