Has anyone else felt lately that the forums have become nothing more than people posting shit to just post shit?

I haven't came across a single day's worth of postings that I actually felt was of any sustenance in almost a year.

Seriously... The entire clan does not need to know when you are stepping away from your computer to wipe your ass. ...just to have another post 10 minutes later letting us know that you are back from wiping your ass.

I understand that we have a lot of members... and that a lot of miscellaneous stuff is going to be posted... but seriously... the quality of the posts have SERIOUSLY decreased in the last year or so.

So, really, what I'm trying to say... is this.


QUIT POSTING BULLSHIT! SERIOUSLY! I DONT HAVE ENOUGH TIME IN THE DAY TO FILTER THROUGH ALL OF THE POSTS REGARDING YOU TAKING 5 MINUTES TO WIPE YOUR ASS. OR YOUR SOME VIDEO OF YOUR FRIEND WIPING HIS ASS.

Also, Most of the questions that you are asking(not computer related, i understand we have a section for that) can be answered by googling it.

If you did something that time and can't remember what it was...seriously, be pro active. You spent 2 minutes to start a post about it. Go to google.com and read about it yourself. Come to your own conclusion. We are not your personal search engine. We don't mind helping where possible... but we don't want to do your work for you.

I hope this helps clear some things up.

I belive this happens to every site and forum on the internet. Once a site of forum reaches it's peak, it declines slowly over time. There is only one way to revive it. Killing it with fire. I agree with you Chris, there hasn't been any good post in months.

Or we could just let the mods wipe out the bull crap until people get the point. Sure, some might bitch, "Why did my thread/post get deleted?" Then the mod wipes that, too. If they still don't get the point (which they should by then) then we ban them (at least temporarily) from the forums.

I mean, yeah, it'll be some work for the mods. However, it will yield the results we're looking for in time. Kids will eventually understand that they can't just post at a whim, and our forums will become much easier to read.

I have to admit, I'm with Chris on this one. I've been (mostly) inactive for over a year now, and I've read the forums almost every day. I read them every day so that I still know what's going on in the clan, and so I can put in my two cents if warranted. However, over the past year, it has become harder for me to filter through and find the important stuff. Most of the time, I leave the forums with multiple threads unread because I can just tell they're bullshit.

I don't post unless I find it prevalent or feel it contributes positively to the already existing thread and posts. Every one else should do the same.



P.S. I swear to god if someone posts "tl;dr" or some equivalent, I'll fucking brain you. I don't make long posts to bore you. I make them so you'll actually use a few brain cells and look more intelligent as a result.

Alright, I know some of you will say this is a worthless question or they'll say pic your on tread.

Anyways I've been wandering, Does splak or skeet stand for anything?
