I now have a spare PC, this weekend I am going to clean it up and copy the entire splak server to it. I am then going to get it setup at a location that is going to let me have some rackspace and bandwidth. Once I do all of this, I am going to get vman to help me out, going to use that as a test server, going to install new maps, clear out old ones, update amx and all mods, etc. We also need to decide on a few other things, first up, if everything works out and the test sever has a good ping for everyone and is stable, we will go through every single map (like I did a few years ago) and start a huge cleanup. What I am thinking is making a few copies of our server, have one that is a surf/climb server, one for testing and the pub. If we ever hit a point to where we are hitting the cpu too hard, I will build a nice quad core box to replace it. Once we get CZ set up and going, I can cancel the server I pay for, and let vman install whatever he wants on it, TF2, Source, etc. So all I need is for everyone to be patient with us, because this will take a while to do, and all depends on if they let us do this, the place could back out and decide no, or even the pings could be awful, etc. The map cleanup will also take a long while, if I do it like I have in the past, I will just go through all maps, one at a time, every time I play, and rate them (and ask people who are on if the map should stay or go). This will take a long time, but is the best way to do it, I would like to get it down from 500 maps down to like 200ish. |

Death to the surf maps! Cant wait to clean some of these maps up, and play some of the ones being suggested. |

Lawl they seem more excited about watching you change maps for a day rather than than hearing about the server. Sounds good though |
