They did not generate enough money for me to deal with the annoyance. So instead of 50c a day, we will get like 20c a day for the banner ads (unless everyone clicked one a day like I do, then it would be more). |

![]() It only picks up 1 or 2 a day per person, any more does not register. |

Don't overdo it either. If it's google, they will pick up and void any amount of money you may get. I used to have ads and people overclicked. Adcents soon caught on and I didn't receive ANY ad money, even from legitimate clicks. And don't talk too much about it, or google will pick it up and void any ad money. It's a tough system but it is nice to make money for virtually nothing. |

Same thing happened to me, they shut mine down because I was looking at my own forums... apparently I am supposed to BLOCK the ads on my home computer. But yeah... its adbrite that we use (it says so on the banner), and they don't really check, so click away, it wont do shit (besides only count one of the clicks). |

so how do they know exactly who clicks more than once? by the username logged into the forums, or the ip that the user is logged in under? |

so if i logged in to every single computer in my computer lab, and clicked a link twice. would it benefit us, or would i just be wasting my time? |

Dont think that would work since they're all connected to the same router even though they have diff ip's its not hard to tell its the same person clicking. |

Yeah, your lab would be only 1 external IP. |

Yeah, I try to click an add every day, but it has gotten bad, 30cents for the past 10 days, 1-2 clicks a day average for the past month. I still think I am going to leave the full page ads down, but I may go ahead and remove all the ads, not worth a dollar a month. All it takes is once a day every person that signs in clicking once on one of the ads to generate some real money for splak. |
