Post subject:  Why Aren't you clicking?
Come on guys/gals. Most of us check the forums ATLEAST 3-4 times a day. We can't all donate at all the time. I understand that..but we have been given an opportunity to give the server money just by clicking a few buttons. Even if we are looking at the full page add. Click on it too. Just go ahead and get it out of the way. If it is going to inconvenience you for that one second...why not just make it a 2 second inconvenience and make the server some real money.

Cole has said that if at any point we are turning a profit on the pub, that he will start putting the money back out to the members who have donated and also help pay for the other servers. I'm not asking for any excessive clicking. Just click on one add a day. I don't think it will pick up any more than that. Thanks all for your help in making .:Splak| what it is today!

As you can see if we had 15 people click 1 ad a day it would cover the cost of the site + the pub (48 a month).

So...its been up for about 4 hrs. Also, it doesn't keep real time.

I have an Idea, why don't you use a "cover page" site like splaknation.com with ads and the redirect to splak.net with more ads? I thought that would gain a lot more views for it

Views don't really matter much, its clicks that matter. We have plenty of views (around 4000 a day), but average about 6 clicks a day...

What are CPM Impressions and Interstitial Impressions, and how does that influence our earnings?

And if I clicked 4 ads on this IP address I am currently using, and say... 10 minutes later log onto a proxy and clicked 4 more and repeated it - would we be safe?

Cost per mille (CPM), also called cost ‰ and cost per thousand (CPT), is a commonly used measurement in advertising.

Interstitial Ads: Interstitial ads appear between two content pages. If a user is on content page A and clicks on a hyperlink to go to content page B, the interstitial ad will appear after the user clicks on page A, before the user is moved to content page B.

Impressions (ad requests): An impression is the industry term for delivering an ad on a Web page. Technically, an impression is a call from the ad engine to the ad server to return an advertisement graphic.

Also, it appears that only 1 click matters a day per person, like you can click 4 times, but it shows up as 1 click, but a proxy may work.
