I hate doing these kind of posts, but I feel it's my duty to inform you all what's up. I should first start by saying: nothing major! Everything is going for the most part - well. However, unfortunately I will be playing a lot less. Just got a job today, went out for a job interview with the Military in their technology department. I will be working as an intern in Alexandria, VA. It's a 45 min drive from where I am, but they pay is pretty well. My salary and work hours aren't set in stone yet - I am to expect a call for a follow-up meeting. However, they told me to expect $13+ an hour, 8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday. It's not bad, but it will cut back into Splak. I doubt I will be coming home from work, and have CZ the first thing on my mind. The goal though is to help out with the server financially, I understand we aren't do fairly well with donations - I really mean to help out. Also, I have already been playing a lot less. I've just been tired. Not physically, but I've been under a lot of stress. School's ending (tomorrow) and it's been a extremely stressful week for me. Work hard though, and it all pays off. I've already passed my Microsoft 70-270 (Carlos too!) and 70-271 Certifications. I've received my Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) License. It's a lot of work, but I seriously try my hardest. Anyways, thanks for any support. Sorry for the news, but I'll be on when I can. Thought I just might share some of my life with you all. |

I'm getting one as well, but mainly to pass the time. With the pay and hours your getting, you'd be crazy not to hit them up on that. military generally gives fantastic benefits as well. |

well, congrats! hard work truly does pay off and it seems like you'll be semi enjoying your summer at a very solid and reliable internship although I have no idea about microsoft certifications, I'm happy you're passing them and getting certified. There's no doubt its a lot of work, so good for you for getting it done. I just started working so im looking forward to donating to the server, after I pay off this damn computer LOL. Anyways, enjoy it and we'll see you on for a scrim or two

nice, so your pretty much a civilan contractor for the military in a sense? Oh an fun fact i'll most likely be stationed in Quantico,VA when i get in the Marines |

Congrats on the Job and the certificates Display. Dont feel bad about the time it took you away from gaming or prolly will, some things are just more important, I'm sure you know that. Best of luck man. |

Very cool Combine, that's only 30 miles away from me. I'd invite you over for a couple of beers but uh.. I suppose that's out of the question :p &thanks for the support everyone, means a lot to me. |
