Imo tf2 kinda sucks with < 10v10. I played today and it was average 6 people on Id say. Spy is out of the question with that little commotion, and there isnt much of the TEAM part its just kinda fortress 2 Sadly I haven't a clue as to how to populate it.

Lol, so I fixed my earlier problem, but there's just one thing. And that's that my crappy video card doesn't support pixel shader 1.1. So until I upgrade my video card I wont be able to play TF2
But DOD:S and CS:S works just fine

Don't get the fast respawn, it destroys cp_ maps and makes it impossible for offense. Set it to 4-6 seconds or so.

And yeah, it needs a mod, but I forget what it's called. Shit.. Carlos knows the name though. It just keeps your stats updated and everything. Some other cool stuff is out there too, but nothing that changes the game play is really popular.

Oh and the server needs achievement maps so when can head in there one day, lock it, and get 'em.

For those though, you'll need a bot mod. In regular tf2 you need to enable sv_cheats 1 in the server to enable them, except it disables achievements.

edit: if you could actually set the fast respawn to be able to set it on, say on pl_ maps - THAT would be awesome

I know you guys dont like custom maps, and the server i go to has quite a few regulars (sorry if i mispelled it, just woke up) but anyway, alot of the custom maps bring in alot of people, they actually have 2 servers, the other server that i never go to has instant respawn 24/7 goldrush/badwater/ regular maps, and NO ONE goes on it, so im just saying you might want to get some good custom maps in it... some of them are actually pretty good

Also if you want to try something sort of "New" there is a mod called
hunted or Hunter mod, where one team, i think its blue are the body gaurds of the lone engineer armed only with a wrench, and red team are all asassins, works on any CP/ Payload map http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=646703

also a mod thats like melee sudden death, might be cool to some people...
and theres also an option (for admin i think, and or the server decides) where the teams can be scrambled if they are winning to much, in a way it will aggravate teamstackers, dunno... just my thoughts

and yea, please no fast respawn, you can dumb it down a bit but it blows honestly =[

just like display said, its only fast respawn on payload maps, different on everything else

We need to keep this more populated, TF2 sucks with a small amount of people and imo when you're not playing with friends.

I would boost the server up to like 20 players, but since I have no job and just starting college its gonna be a bitch.

With gameservers.com (who im currently with) with 16 slots its like, $23.95 (£13.23).

With 20 slots, it will be $29.95 (£16.55) so, i mean if one of you tf2 guys wanna carry on the server and boost the server population up, go ahead.
