Because it's their civic duty when they knock, to yell "THE FIREMAN IS HERE, AND I I THINK I FOUND WHERE THE FIRE IS," where shortly there after exclaiming to everyone that it's in his pants (in this case, his pants are already off).

Come on now AWOL... at least everyone has had a naked fireman come to their house once or twice now...
