These are from the same track. Read the descriptions on youtube, I gave the time of the wrecks.

My buddy Kris who wrecked last weekend, he was unconscious for a while, but ended up with two broken thumbs, broken hand, fractured back and ankle, and a concussion. He will be back at the track with me in October (or so he says).

Last November (my first time on the track), my good friend Steve filming from a rear mount on his camera, his son Josh and another friend Frank following. Josh said his tires were almost gone and just let go through turn 3, which is a pretty high speed section. Ended up bruised up, and a fractured shoulder socket, had to go through rehab to regain most of his shoulder rotation:

You should have insurance anyway

But stopping would be the worst thing to do. That was a 80+mph wreck, blind uphill turn, imagine if you stopped, and 30 other bikes came around the corner. And Kris's wreck he was probably in the 120+mph range. We are instructed to not only not stop, but to also not slow down suddenly (get rear ended), but instead keep up the pace slowly drop your speed, and make it to the pits and get off the track.

Here is why... the ambulance is NOT allowed on a track that there are moving bikes on. So if someone is seriously injured and you stop to help them, or take it slow all the way around, you just took time away from the person getting medical attention. There is also a corner worker in every turn, who is trained on what to do.

So if its a non serious wreck, and the person is not hurt, and the person and the bike end up in the grass, they will wave the yellow flag in that corner only, move his shit out of the way, and he has to chill there until it is over (they do this on tv too, just watch, they will just sit by the fence). If their stuff is slightly in the way, they will put out a track wide yellow flag, and if they red flag it, it means someones life may depend on you getting your ass off the track fast.

Both of the wrecks you see are filmed by friends of the people who wrecked (in Joshs case, that was his dad filming, and his dads buddy right beside him). But they new to get off the track and let the staff do their job.

Hopefully I'll die before we have a socialist elected president.
