the writing's huge? it's too small, i used the lowest resolution before till cole told me what the point was so now mines 800x600, i tried my max which was 1280X1024 the text...was so tiny

1280x1024 is the highest resolution I can get too. Is there another way to force it up, or something?

Mines 1152x864 on an 19" flat.

If I have it any bigger, the writing is pretty big.

Mine goes to something like 1600x1400, but I use a CRT, if you use a LCD, the highest it will show is only going to be your native res.


Also, it depends on your monitor size.

I have a 20in monitor, and the writing is fine, at 800x600 the writing would be HUGE.

I would recommend 1280x1024 for 18+ monitor size, and 1024x768 for smaller. If you have a LCD monitor use whatever your native resolution is, this will give you the best picture for your monitor. Like if your LCD is 1280x1024, it has 1280 LCD pixels across the screen and 1024 up and down, so if you use a different number it doesn't line up right, causing some blurring.

I have that and I run 1280x1024 and its really clear and the text is perfect, I don't see how it could be huge :o

and if I run anything above or on 1280x1024 on cs, its blurry or big writing. :(
