Ive already had my discussion on what I think is the cheapest for the most power sports car for less money which is a honda or other tuners.
Yes, it gave me a good laugh.
That was not meant to be a direct attack, simply dollar for dollar tuners give you some of the absolute worst performance gains out there, compared to performance cars.
For example: My G35 would take $2,000 (exhaust, CAI, and upper and lower intake manifold), to bump from 306hp to 330hp. While my roommates C6 with the same mods would go from 400hp to 500hp, while getting better gas mileage than me, with a smaller, lighter, cheaper engine, that arguably will last longer (does 1800rpms going 80, while mine is running at 3000). If we were both were to put forced induction on our cars, I would see around 450hp, while he would be well past the 600s. Compare this to a 1990 civic vs 1990 5.0,while reducing the power of each by half, but the gains in a 5.0 are awesome, while a civic, takes thousands just to make 300hp.
A Civic with a turbo b22 does not equal a Skyline GTR, even if it can somehow match it down a quarter mile, its still a shitbox with 400hp that will be lucky if the motor does not blow up in a few thousand miles.
