Um, well the only two that come to mind, that aren't virus infested ploys, is McAfee's Stinger and Trend Micro's HouseCall. Also some good free spyware programs are: Spybot, CCleaner, and CWShredder. A great diagnostic tool is HiJackThis, which can rid of a lot of nasty things. A good retail spyware program is AdAware. And pretty much the best anti-virus that I've used, to date, is Kaspersky. Only use HiJackThis if you fully understand how to use it, and if you can read what it is saying to you in the log file. You can fuck stuff up easily if you do it incorrectly. Other than that, what VMAN said. |

Avast is free. That's what I use. I also use Threatfire to back up Avast. That's what threatfire is good for. |

AhnLab V3 Internet Security 7.0 this is very good one, doesn't bother you like other ones, It is restrict against File Sharing, like via LAN, and I never had a problem with Virus trojans |

Winner That being said, both of them uses a lot of resources, but AVG is the lest of any AV that I have seen, but still use shit. So I install them, run them over and over until its clean that get rid of them. The new spybot is great, but is a hog. |

I still use F-Secure Client Security. I get it free from my university and they use it so I figure it must be pretty good. |
