Well lately my computer would shut down at random times and beeps. I would force shut down and then when i try to turn it on it just beeps. After like 10 min of waiting, I would try to turn it on again and it would be on for like a long time. Anyone know the problem? Like it would be 5 times and then stop then beep 5 times again and then again and again. Help please |

Sorry - just read itt again. It could be a processor or motherboard failure. I could be wrong though. You should check your manufacture with the beeps - should be in a manual or something. |

what is the beep sounding like? is it like a random really loud clicking noise kinda similar to a camera or some sort going off? |

Yeah, "beeps" is not enought info. Give us the full beep code, like 3 beeps, or even 3 fast beeps 2 slow ones (if it does that). I would first open it up, and dust it out, making sure the cpu heatsink, gpu heatsink, and power supply are free of dust. A lot of times I open up someones computer and they have never cleaned it out, the entire cpu heatsink is so covered in dust that air cannot get to it. |

yeah.. if its just odd random clicks every now and then its most likely your Hard drive is cracked. thats what happened to me. open up your computer and try and find where the noise is comeing from. |

I think I know what has happened. This same thing had happened to my mom's computer. What you will need is a compressed air can and take your computer outside and spray all the dust out of it. Hope this works! |

It's like 5 beeps, then it stops for 1 second, then 5 beeps, stops 1 second, then 5 beeps, then i force shut down. I'll buy a compressed air can soon. |

You don't have to buy the can soon. First open open up the side case and look inside and see if it has dust and if it does than start spraying it (outside your house). |

Like all the others said, it could be gpu or cpu overheating due to dust. Check to see if all the fans on your case, cpu and gpu are spinning properly. Not sure, but maybe you should do a virus/spyware check never hurts to check ^^. |
