So, i'm pretty confused about how to setup a dual screen. I've been told that I need two graphics cards and i've been told that I can do it with one graphics card, but it has to have a dual head. So, basically my question: Can you setup a dual screen monitor if you have two DVI ports on your graphics card, but use a VGA > DVI converter thing to plug it in or is just not possible? |

What card do you have, and yes, if you have 2 ports, you can do 2 monitors. |

I think i saw a video about this when my screen didnt work with the new computer. having 2 DVI ports will do the job. |

Plug in both monitors, turn on computer, go to nvidia control panel, go to "set up multiple displays" |

Im pretty sure if you go to the desktop options where you change resolution of screen you will see the options for dual monitor. |

^Exactly. Plus I do that with my laptop's LCD with my plasma screen in my room and it works fine. |
