GoDaddy is pretty good. You can also save 10% by using DLTV in the promotion code. Not to be an adbot, but it's a pretty nice deal! And speaking of your website... what's it for? Making a new guild? |

GoDaddy like everyone else, its easy to setup, go for the cheap host of course. If you need any help setting the forum up, speak to me

All my domains are registered with GoDaddy and hosted at LunarPages. But I would recommend GoDaddy hosting as it gets the job done for the Splak Forums and Storms website. When registering your domain, you should consider doing a private registration so that your personal information isn't available in the WHOIS database record for your domain. It might cost a little more, but it makes me feel safer. |

Honestly, I don't really like GoDaddy, especially for bigger websites. You can find some much better deals/performance if you know where to look and have a little patience.  Sometimes if you get hosting from a small (but reputable, keyword is reputable here lol) company, you can talk to the owner and see if they'll give you any deals, often times they're happy for any business and will bend over backwards to get you what you want + extras.
For example, I talked to the owner of a hosting company who had a VPS listed for about $10-$15/month, that had like 128 mb of RAM and 5 GB disk space. I asked him if he could drop the price, and he said no, but offered me a VPS with 1gb of RAM and 20 gb of disk space for 1 dollar less. Great deal, right? You can do the same type of thing with shared hosting companies, although it might be a little harder to bargain.

Yup, Bensky. When I first saw godaddy's hosting packages and then saw lunarpages I knew right away lunarpages had more of what i needed |

The best one is Godaddy though, its pretty cheap, and its all you need for a forum/website. You dont want Lunarpages unless your really doing a big website and such. |
