uh...does it really matter? get the 500gb for $5 more? arent all external HDs basically the same? |

I normally buy the enclosure and then buy a drive http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817173043 ^ I have built seriously around 50 external drives using that enclosure. Then put your own SATA drive in it, that way you dont get some cheap ass drive that breaks after a week. |

Bass, they might seem the same but sometimes one drive may break easily, be too hot or generally be noisy as hell. Thanks Cole, I might just do that. But all I hear are good things about the 500gb and that it is very reliable. |
