I'm calling out to you guys from an old laptop because my computer is fried I really hope you guys can help me out. I'm in deep shit. Well, a certain person in my family decided that it would be a fantastic idea to download the Service pak 3 update for xp, with knowing anything about it. It didnt work. Infact, it didnt work so well, that I might be in asituation where I might have to reinstall windows Xp as whole, therefore eliminating EVERYTHING on my hard drive, most importantly, all my maps, including my almost released Splak_industry, steam docs, and models from a time when ported skins were legal. Anyway, the update failed with a capital PH and now I'm up to my waist in week old porto-pottie fluid. When I try to boot up my computer, just as I get into the log in screen, an error comes up that says stuff along the lines of AUTOCHK not found. It computer then sended me into this frustrating void of a blue screen of death with the fallowing error. STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error} The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc000003a (0x00000000 0x00000000) The system has been shut down. If anyone out there knows anything about this, PLEASE help me out. |

That is for NT4. Wonder, you should be able to do a system restore to right before you did the SP3 install!!! Press f8 on boot (a bunch of times) until the menu comes up, try to restore it to a previous point. |

Alright, well, I'm backish now. Turns out my Motherboard fried itself when it installed the service pack, I'm pretty much on a whole new computer right, minus the Graphics card I still need to finish installing all my addons, but I fix um up, and I should be back online by the end of this weekend if all goes well. |
