| Post subject: | Wireless Network Setup Wizard help |
Hey guys So, my mum got a new laptop yesterday and im trying to get wireless working again (it stopped working about xmas time) So, I went to "My Network Places" clicked "Set up a wireless network for a home or small office" I followed the instructions, got to the very end where its copied that information on to a flash drive and got this
I was thinking, "wireless access point?" so I googled it, apprently I have to stick the flash drive into my router. So I unplugged my flash drive, went to my router, looked at it, thinking now.. where the eff do I put this... I've the Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router,
I cant see any ports for a flash drive, can you? So, if anyone knows how to setup wireless for a Vista Laptop. Please tell me Thanks. |

Your router didn't come with any linksys software? Usually helps your configure it a lot easier that way. |

Ah, nevermind. I've completely fixed it. My sister thinking shes the best at networking, since shes has to do the odd bit at her work thought she configd it correctly. She gave me the password and username for the config and I checked it out, she f'd up the wireless section. Just done a reset of the router and changed some of the bits and it worked perfectly fine. Edit: Thanks for the help anyway guys! |

Ah, I think it would be easier if you unplugged it and plugged it in again |
