So i was wondering what my rates should be i live in Las Vegas i know display answered this already but i was just wondering because people say put it to 20000 so what should i put my rate cl_cmdrate and cl)updaterate be? |

Your rate should be about 25000-30000, your cl_cmdrate should be 45 and so should your cl_updaterate be too... But that doesnt work for me cause I live in Sweden.... so I got to have higher than you have just to egt a lower ping too... If you have a unusualy high ping try to increase your rate that works for me, I had about 180-197 something like that and now I have about 160.. |

Im posting this for my friend and also it was already at 30000 and i lowered it 2 20000 and it dropped alot but im just not sure what to set the rest as =/ |

Bring up your net_graph 3 and increase each one by a small amount and watch for choke, when you start seeing constant choke or loss, you have gone too far and need to back it off a bit. With higher rates your ping will appear a little higher, but will have better registry if you do it correctly. |
