| Post subject: | Headset and Mic Problems |
My headset mic no longer works properly, although the earphones work perfectly the mic just decided to fuck up. The drivers are updated to the most recent and I can't figure out what to do. I tested it on Teamspeak and it seems to pick up background noise or static but not my voice(wtf). I'm going to run more tests to see if its the computer or the mic itself. Also my laptop mic doesnt not want to work with CZ. It will work with anything else but CZ. Please Help  .

Yeahh that happend to mine old too ,so thats why i bought a new one (and cause my brother was sitting on it all the time) I never figured out what the problem was... gl anyways |

happened with my mic, i just got a new one today, my wires were kinda cut cuz i bent the mic piece alot, so maybe that's why? |

Yah, i fixed mine though. Somehow my mic volume bit was turned alllllllll the way down.

Nanoflare, you were testing your mic in CZ the other day and it sounded fine to me |

 Headset's always plugged in. Anyways my laptop mic is working with cz now and I'll use it until I can fix the mic, tests show that it works with the computer but it won't work with CZ.

A good way to check if it works or not is open steam then file>settings then go to voice and do that mic check thing to see if it works thats what i did |

It does work OUTSIDE of Cz, computer recognizes it ,says it works, and works on the test. Its just CZ where it refuses to work. |
