First and foremost phish live is awesome. awesome. needed to put that twice. Trey is just nuts. I was really digging the music.

Now, for a bit things were cool, then shit got weird. and not just normal weird, cause I've seen some messed up shit, this was fucking bizarre. to my left half grinding on me is some older chick(way too old for this kinda shit) wearing like a skimpy top, huge hippy dress bottom, and reindeer ears. shes just going bananas but she was nice.

Behind me is some guy who REALLY wanted to hear Funky Bitch. REALLY fucking bad, and he smoked a shit load of weed. Honestly, i could live with this, but shit just gets weirder. some guy comes and sits next to my friend and said he told the people seating he new us and would buy us a beer for it. later on after whatevr the fuck he took kicked in he starts badgering my friend to start hippy dancing and is like grinding on him, asking out there questions. lines kinda crossed.

In front of us are a gaggle of people who could have been my parents high on some CRAZY ASS SHIT. They were gone, like checking out their own hands and taking their clothes off. a guy in a truck hat and what looked like a jean shirt is at first doing that dance that the black guy in the russian hat in dave chappelle show does, then he just fucking pelvic thrusts for like 45 minutes. the only guy relatively my age was so fucking gone when he got there he took his shirt off right away and just started like raving up front. We had front row seats btw, so this is all happening really close to me and the band. Later on shirtless people would go talk to other shirtless guys and give really gay looking hugs only because they are both shirtless. people in front of me are either out of the mind just staring or dancing like, fuck, i dont even know. later they start sharing water out of the kids like camel backpack.

we got the fuck outta there.

TL;dr version, phish is stellar live, phish fans are tools.(at least people in the front row.)

reminds me of the reggae fest in austin . Im glad you had a good time, I would love to see them play someday.
