2. no difference with chess in real life and over the computer, over the computer it widens the competition and it's only fun with people i know, and i can bet that i don't have a friend that's into chess :lol:

you rag on him about playing chess online in one post, then admit to playing it online yourself.

Saying "oh you might actually have to leave your room", if this post were about making friends in real life they it would have been started w/ that intention. this was about playing chess on a specific website and he wanted to see if other people would join him. you are entitled to your opinion, as am i. you started mentioning reading books and playing with people in real life, started getting off topic. just trying to keep it on track

NOW to get back on track, NO MORE DISCUSSION ABOUT THIS MAKESHIFT.

thanks stork, and i look forward to vsing you guys :D and FYI makeshift, i really can't do shit that's fun in life cuz my knee is fucked up (not allowed to run, do contact sports etc.) friends are doing sports, never get to see them because of that, you really shouldn't judge someone over the internet

only possible way for it to get better is for one of my growth spurts (6 ft. tall atm) to heal it and get blood flow to that part of the bone or i get surgery (40% chance of success)

i'll DESTROY you in chess romo lol but srsly i look forward to it :P
