I heard SC$ is awesome, but there is a real lag problem for non lan stuff. Especially if you are over seas.

sc4 is ok, i prefer 2 over all of them, 360 one is lame pretty much yoda is terrible, and i'm amazing at sc games, he's god awful. but its not worth more than just a rent i played it with some buddies for like 4 hours yesterday and i probably won't play it again

Thats what I tried to tell him, its all about story line, character development, more like watching a movie, which makes it great, the complete opposite of like CS.

I bet I would love it, simply because I love the LOZ games, half life series, any all the games that actually have a story. The only thing that sucks about MGS, is that I have never had a PS system before, so its a new game to me, and I know that it would bother me to be so behind on the story line (I would have to go back and play the old ones too, haha).

You need to play the old ones to get much of the stuff that's going on on the new one.

Even if you do though... you will still be somewhat lost. I heard MGS4 wraps most of it up though.

MGS1 and MGS2 are available for the PC. I'm going to pick it up sometime soon - classic games, the story line is just phenomenal.

I'm still debating that the Dark Knight's ending was stolen from what The Boss had to endure from MGS3, but eh 8)

Aumber, for mgs1, try getting the gamecube version "Twin Snakes" It's better graphics and same story.
