Wonder, sweet bike, looks to be a 2006-2008 gsxr 600 / 750. You are standing in front of the tail, so I can't see what it is. I hope you get to keep it and hope you treat it with respect. Took me a year of riding easy before I started riding harder at all. If you ride it hard, it will bite ya. chunky3 wrote: whats the averge mpg on motercycles? and how much do they usually cost (regular stock)? On a super sport bike typically: 600cc = 39mpg 750cc = 37mpg 1000cc = 34mpg Keep in mind thats typical driving, and on 93 octane (more expensive), hard driving you will get in the high 20's. Most people will say that they get more mileage, but typically the speedometer on a bike is up to 10% high (with no gearing), but on average about 8%. So if it says you are going 80, you are really going 74. One of the first things people do to bikes is new gearing, which makes it even worse, thats why we install a speedo healer, it fixes your gauges to read correct. My friend went down 1 on the front gear, and it made it 11.4% off, thats over 10mph off at 70. So my point they are racking up miles on their bikes, and think they are getting 40mpg, when really getting 34 because the miles on the bike are wrong. |

ColeLT1 Yeh, I'm takin it real slow for now. The fastest two wheeler I've drove before this is a moped. That prolly doesnt count for much. Thanks for the info on the bottom part too, I'll ask him about it next time I see him. It also say 600 on the tail if that helps you. Oh and corn, my sister just turned 19, and I dont wanna know what they do in their free time. |
