As much as all these bullshit gun control laws are going, I can guarantee that there will be war in the streets if our 2nd Amendment is pulled. I'd be up all in it - I won't allow my safety from mutated zombies be taken away from me.


I moved this to a different topic so that the other one wouldn't derail. (As inconsequential as that derailing would have been...)

I haven't heard anything about this. Why have both of you stated something about "the way things are going?" Is there something that I haven't seen on the news? I usually watch, but sometimes I miss it.

I'm feeling ignorant, so please enlighten me. Thanks.

There has always been a push to tighten gun control laws...

Some morons think that if you take guns away from people who carry them lawfully, that the criminals wont be able to get them either.

With a liberal House/Senate...if a liberal president takes office... I'm honestly terrified to see what ridiculous legislation comes out.


I wonder if the ACLU would be around to take my case for free...

So, what you're saying is; If gun control laws get any tighter, it will be hard for hard-working, law-abiding, good civilians to get guns. And it will be easier for crazies/badguys to gun us down?

Somehow, this seems like BS to me...

Law abiding citizens will adhere to the gun control laws. Criminals wont. Its common sense.

So... depending on how severe of legislation is passed... Here's a couple of scenarios that i can see played out...

1. They ban all personal gun ownage. Come into your houses and require you to turn them over to the authorities.

2. They make a gun permit so over the top that its impossible for anyone to own a gun. No one can get them, you must turn over your guns because you are not able to own one since you cant get this permit.


Ok...so... You haven't got a gun.


Do you not think that the criminals aren't already breaking the law? Do you not think that they didn't turn over their guns. Do you know what kind of advantage that gives them? If someone breaks into your house...how do you defend yourself?

You don't bring a knife to a gunfight. Its useless.

Again, this all seems like BS to me. Isn't this common sense, what you're telling me? I don't get it. What idiots would take away OUR rights to own guns. You're totally right; A criminal won't give a shit about owning a gun illegally.

Still, I must admit, I hardly see the need for someone to own a 50 Cal. sniper rifle for fun or an AK47 to hunt... I'll stick with a pistol or two, or maybe something larger, but I don't need an assault rifle(yet... friggin' zombies)

Indeed, it all boils down to forcing things to a black market. Look at prohibition of alcohol, yeah, that worked GREAT, it invented the mob, started organized crime in the united states, all to support drinking.

If you want a gun, you can get one, no matter what, just like drugs, but you would rather get it from a store, legally, instead of from "shady jim" with the crazy eyes that may just kill you for your 100 bucks.

So then the people who actually want a gun for protection will be punished while the real criminals will use a blackmarket system for weapons, we already have this going on, the mob and the hells angels are notorious for gun running, so the system is already there, so if you outlaw guns, only the outlaws will have guns.

Were allowed to own guns, but only if we have a licence. Anyone could buy one, but 'apprently' you can only get a gun if you have a friend or a relative who owns one too.

Im just amazed that anyone who is 14+ can own a full loaded shotgun, even though they do have to go through a police inspection and test with an air rifle first to get the gun licence. Who knows what they could do next...

I am sorry then. I had read at some point a few years ago that England commoners had their gun privileges taken away.

Was that true at all? I'm really not sure where i read that.

From what I know of, it wasnt. Im sure of it.

The only thing what was going on with gun in the past couple of years or something, were about the foxes. But that had nothing do with taken our gun privileges away.
