Ya at schoolyesterday I accidentally spilled alittle bit of coffee on my laptop keyboard so I frantically took the keys off and started cleaning it madly. During school the laptop worked fine so I was like phew that was a close one. But then I got home and turned it on and the laptop started BEEPING madly. So I was like "Oh shiet that is nots goooood". Ya so it's basically messed up and some of the keys are unresponsive so I gotta see if it can be repaired which I'm hoping it can..

dont waste your time repairing it, most likely it will cost more to repair it than what it is really worth. Just see if someone can retrieve your shit off your HDD and put it on a website storage or something. the toshiba satellites are good, and they normally have a good sale on them @ bestbuy (btw, this is the ONLY time you will hear me be an advocate for that shithole) check newegg too... |

:O...ahh that sucks im sorry...Ive been through that I was frantic. Mine randomly started beeping and the screen went blue w/ hard drive messages for no reason. And I have TONS of music...so I prayed(yes prayed)..and then it worked :p So no warranty? If you buy another u should get a Dell, best warranty in the game. Like $200 every 2 or 3 years for anything u need. |

http://www.woot.com/ Core2 duo laptop on woot today.... Will work for CZ, but the integrated graphics is too slow for source. Laptops are not meant for gaming (unless you spend 2g+) |

Ya mines was a dual core HP, with a 200 gig hard drive and 2gb of ram. But ya I took it to Futureshop today (like Best Buy in the states) and they said they can fix it for $200 bucks because apparently it just shorted out something that controls the keyboard or something but everything else is fine because it will actually turn on and everything works. So I think I'm gonna go with that unless I can find a better deal somewhere. |
