125 shot is more for a car that already has 250+ hp, put a 125 shot on a B16 and he may get a few sprays out of it before he blows it up.

On top of that once you spray >= 100 shot you need to pull timing a few degrees and put colder plugs. I had NGK TR5's on my car, and had a timing kit that pulled 2 degrees on 100 shot, and 3 on 150, without pulling timing you will get bad detonation (knock/ping), without plugs he will run too hot of a combustion and melt his piston/rings/valves. On top of that, if it is a dry kit, he will have to put in all new injectors, big ass injectors, and if he does that he will need a new fuel pump, and if he uses a wet or dry kit, and sprays 150, with no upgraded fuel pump, he will run lean and melt down the engine.
But hey, dont tell him that, let him do it, and you will get to see him blow up his shit.
