Translation: we dont have much public transportation, and I hate the state.

Austin's Capital Metro bus system kicks ass. I used to ride it everywhere to save gas, now i'm too impatient.

Great public transit though. Not all of TX is inadequate.

Yeah, i went to this school on red river and use public transit and it worked great. I now use my car cuz i go to local High School, and use about 70 to 80 dollars a week(I have to use premium in my car...)

hell yeah pep, I used to take the Cap Met downtown when I skipped class in HS. Austin has one of the most well thoughtout public transportation services I've seen, and I've used many of them in different states.

Most every city has fairly good public transportation, however I've never lived in a main city only in suburbs and they have small amount to no public trans.

And yeah Fort Worth doesn't have much to do if you don't like that whole hick stereotype imo. But it is growing, in a few years it will be a major city and the areas around will fill out.

Like Arlington, and some of the only times that i go up to ft. worth is to go to the futurity. We have 3 year olds that show in the Futurity pretty much every year... maybe next year i can stop buy if i end up going... and 3 year old horses..

Hank, you might want to look into showing at the Dixie National Rodeo here in Jackson, MS

i've got cousins that show calfs and cattle here, and they its one of the biggest rodeo's they've ever been to.

Dont know if thats true or not, but i know downtown jackson gets overloaded with crazy hicks in wranglers and cowboy hats.

Yeah, i dont show like that. I show like cutting if you know what that is,
you take a herd of calfs and cut one calf out of the herd with your horse and thats basically it i can try to find a vid of it... and i would not want to haul my horses that far... and its not the HLSSR is the world championship for cutting and thats Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo...
