You need that lame little bagillion dollar diode or whatever that lets you read blu-ray encoding.. Seriously, somthing the size of an f-n LED (I think, I'm probably wrong.. don't give a shit about these format wars) costs that f-n much..

yay for me!

Plus, Toshiba the major maker/distributor of HD DVD players stopped making them because lack of sales and Wal-Mart discontinued selling them

blue ray has better quality, but cost so much so I'm going to stick to HD DVD

Blu-Ray is a new style type of disk. Holds like 5 times more than a DVD and doesnt scratch. It has a protective layer over it. The blu-Ray players in teh playstations arent full Blu-Ray players. Sony makes two different players that are a $200 difference. The Playstation still does look a lot better than a normal DVD. I work at Circuit City so we knew they were going out a long time ago. Blu-Ray is the new style disk just as DVD used to be.


Ace, if you are going to get any HD player, get a Blu-Ray. If someone alrady has an HDDVD player than its only gonan be good as an upconverter which basically means it will make your standard DVD's look better.

Yeah not the best of companies. My store just closed and we either got laid off or had to try adn transfer. Was kinda gay. Whatever it pays the bills until i can get another job or feel like looking for another one.
